The placepot consists of 6 races and you must pick a selection to be placed in all of these 6 races .
If however there are only 4 runners in one of these races you have to pick the winner .
So my advice for this is to do a perm bet and in the 4 runner race put all 4 in .
You now already have only 5 races to negotiate then .

The best way i find is to pick 2 selections for each race which comes to 64 bets .
At lets say 20p a line , the total stake would be £12.80.
Try to avoid favourites if you can - if however the favourite is 1- 5 or something silly then it would be crazy not to put this in .

Look for horses up there in the betting but dont look to obvious for a place . A lot of placepot punters go for horses with good form figures - this can be helpful towards placepot punters like me .
